Scientific Articles Contest on Strengthening Family Bonds in Times of Pandemic Award
The Contest for Scientific Papers on Strengthening Family Bonds in Times of Pandemic is an initiative generated in response to a request from the National Secretariat for the Family, Ministry of Women, Family, and Human Rights to the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). The purpose is to award up to twelve unpublished scientific papers by issuing certificates, publishing the selected articles, and providing laptops to the authors of the winning works in each category, whose themes are related to family research.
Objectives
The Contest for Scientific Papers on Strengthening Family Bonds in Times of Pandemic aims to stimulate, highlight, and give visibility to the production of scientific papers focused on the family theme. This is in line with Article 3, Section IV, of Decree No. 10.570, dated December 9, 2020, which established the National Strategy for Strengthening Family Bonds. The strategy aims to "promote research, production, and dissemination of knowledge about the reality of Brazilian families and the relationship between family ties and the well-being of the population."
The 2022 edition of the Contest for Scientific Papers on Strengthening Family Bonds in Times of Pandemic is intended to select high-quality and unpublished scientific papers that address the following theme, divided into the following sub-themes:

Awards
The prize includes:
I. 1st place for each specified thematic axis in item 1.3: the first author will be awarded a Lenovo notebook - Ideapad s34015iwl, and the article will be featured in a specific publication of the National Family Observatory.
II. 1st place for each specified thematic axis in item 1.3: the first author will receive airfare and daily allowances to attend the award ceremony, which will take place on a date and at a location to be defined, provided that the budgetary conditions of SNF and the country's health conditions allow for an in-person ceremony. Only airfare for routes within the Brazilian territory will be covered.
III. 2nd to 4th place for each theme in item 1.3: the article will be featured in a specific publication by the ONF.
Honorable mention certificates may be awarded to works ranked 2nd to 4th, per category, judged by the Judging Committee as having recognized quality.
Registration
Submissions must be made exclusively through the website https://pcsnf.capes.gov.br from February 1, 2022, until 11:59 PM on March 31, 2022, Brasília time.
