For the PCT applications, the publication is made by WIPO after 18 months of the priority date (first filing). In the PCT filing, the applicant may also request an International Preliminary Examination (optional). The Preliminary Examination Authorities are the same as that forInternational Search.
Note: There is no international patent, rather an international filing through PCT.
