Requests to INPI for a copy or provision of image of documents not scanned can take up to 90 days, as all documents are at the company of custody and some time is required for proper recovery and treatment (cleansing):
1. identification of the portions of the process;
2. verification of existing images in order to confirm whether they are undamaged;
3. request, to the company of custody, for the portions missing from the process;
4. scanning.
So, if there is a need for access the process, we ask the applicant to request at least three months before.
