Statistics page has been reformulated and features an interactive data dashboard
Aiming to improve the user experience when searching for statistical information and economic studies on industrial property, INPI has reformulated the “Statistics” page, sectoring the content into three parts: Statistics, Reports and Studies. An interactive intellectual property (IP) statistics dashboard for 2021 and an IP application dashboard for the last 12 months have also been created.
The main highlights of the new page are the easier access to monthly and year-to-date data, as well as a collection of downloadable economic studies and reports, such as the Monthly Industrial Property Report and the Industrial Property Indicators.
The statistics dashboard allows the search for trademark, patent, industrial design and software applications and contracts records for the current year, including by Brazilian city and type of applicant (individual, individual micro-entrepreneur (MEI), large company, etc.).
The application dashboard, on the other hand, allows the user to follow up with the monthly quantity of some types of protections offered by INPI.
