The Program

This Program is a result of the cooperation between CAPES and the Fulbright Commission for Educational Exchange between the United States of America and Brazil

Type of Program:

Individual Scholarship

Objectives:

a) To qualify top-level human resources in the USA as a complement offered by Brazilian post-graduation courses. It aims at candidates with excellent academic performances and with research proposals which cannot, totally or in part, be executed in Brazil.
b) Encourage the qualification of leaderships which can significantly contribute to the research areas of the program
c) Strengthen areas of knowledge in consolidation in Brazil
d) To broaden levels of collaboration and joint publications by researchers working in Brazil and abroad
e) Broaden the access of Brazilian researchers to universities of excellence in the USA
f) To allow wider visibility to the Brazilian scientific, technological and cultural productions of career consolidation through academic internships abroad.
