Modalities of support

1. Scholarships

Scholarships consist of the support to students travelling abroad to pursue academic and research activities in areas of interest. The Scholarship types supported are:

• Sandwich Doctorate, between 4 and 12 months, non-extendable
• Post-Doctorate, between 2 and 12 months, non-extendable
• Junior Visiting Professor, between 2 and 12 months, non-extendable
• Senior Visiting Professor, between 2 and 12 months, non-extendable

Fundable Items:

• Monthly Allowance
• Settling-In Allowance
• Moving Allowance
• Health Insurance Assistance
• High-cost city Assistance (Ordinance n. 202, 2017)

2. Working Missions

The support is equivalent to the support to Brazilian students (or foreign students with a permanence visa in Brazil), duly connected to the Brazilian Higher Education Institution and registered as a project member, travelling abroad to pursue academic and research activities in areas of interest.

Each Working Mission shall have minimum duration of 7 days and maximum duration of 20 days.

3. Cost expenses

Up to R$ 10.000,00 per year of project.
