Requirements and Conditions

Requirements for applications in the current Public Notice:

I – To be a Brazilian citizen or a foreigner with permanent visa in Brazil

II – To be a member of the Armed Forces or civilian duly recognized link to a project of interest of the Armed Forces or the Ministry of Defense, attested by declaration (Annex III)

III – To not hold scholarship in the same modality granted by a public federal agency, requirement necessary for the application at CAPES

IV – To not accumulate scholarship or financial aid of any nature granted by a federal public agncy during the validity of benefits granted by the current Public Notice

V – To have formal acceptance by a foreign institution – in the case of Sandwich Doctorate – or invitation letter for Post-Doctorate, Junior Visiting Professor and Senior Visiting Professor. Please look upon specific requirements in the Public Notice.
