Modalities and Benefits
1. Scholarships
Scholarships consist of the support to students travelling abroad to pursue academic and research activities in areas of interest. The scholarships supported are:
- Sandwich Doctorate
- Post-Doctorate

- Health Insurance Assistance
- High-cost city Assistance (Ordinance n. 202, 2017)
2. Working Missions
The support is equivalent to short trips abroad granted to one of faculty members or researchers, holders of Doctorate, in an active employment relationship with the institutions, to France or to one of the participating South American countries.
The Working Mission will have as objective the execution of Project activities, consisting of meetings and technical visits to foreign institutions participating in the Project, in addition to monitoring progress of scholars abroad.
The number of Working Missions with the duration of the Project may vary between 2 and 4, of which one must include the Brazilian Project coordinator.
A member of the Brazilian team shall not take part in more than one Working Mission per year, or missions in consecutive Years, with the exception of the Project coordinator in Brazil, who may take part in one mission per year throughout the Project duration.
The duration of a Working Mission will be no shorter than 7 days or longer than 20 days. The amounts are established by the current standards.

Cost expenses are not available.
The duration of each selected Project is of 2 years, non-extendable.
