Objectives

Created in 1994, PROBRAL (Brazil-Germany Program) selects joint research projects developed between Brazilian Higher Education or Research Institutions, whether public or private non-profit, and similar institutions headquartered in Germany. The program aims to:

• Support joint research projects developed by Brazilian and German research teams;
• Deepen cooperation between researchers and educators from institutions in Brazil and Germany;
• Contribute to the academic-scientific mobility of students, faculty and researchers linked to post-graduation programs in both countries;
• Promote projects that enable the transfer and absorption of knowledge, within a critical perspective that creates innovation; and
• Stimulate the creation of research networks.
