Objectives

This program, through the concession of scholarships, contemplates primarily top-level researchers and professors in the areas of immunology and neurosciences. Its objectives are:

• Deepen academic cooperation between Higher Education Institutions and Brazilian and foreign research centers;
• Increase knowledge at the host institution about the contributions of notable researchers and educators from Brazil, experts in the Program's priority areas of knowledge;
• Encourage the creation of new partnerships or the consolidation of an existing international research network between the scholarship holder's institution and the University of Bonn;
• Expand access for high-level Brazilian researchers and teachers to international centers of excellence;
• Provide greater international visibility to the scientific, technological and cultural production of Brazilian professors;
• Contribute to the mobility of high-level professors and researchers between Higher Education Institutions in Brazil and the University of Bonn;
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of scientific exchange through the work of high-level professors and researchers from Brazil at an international level;
• Increase the level of collaboration and joint publications between researchers working in Brazil and abroad, by encouraging the execution of joint activities;
• Expand access for high-level Brazilian researchers and teachers to international centers of excellence
• Provide greater international visibility to the scientific, technological and cultural production of Brazilian professors;
• Encourage cooperation between high-level researchers and teachers from research and higher education institutions in Brazil and their peers at the University of Bonn.
