Objectives

Created in 1978 by the Brazilian and French governments, the CAPES/Cofecub Program aims to:

• Strengthen the cooperation between researchers and educators in institutions in Brazil and France;
• Contribute to the academic and scientific mobility of students, faculty staff and researchers connected to post-graduation programs in the participating countries;
• Support joint research projects developed by Brazilian and French teams;
• Promote projects that allow transfer and absorption of knowledge, within a critical perspective that generates innovation and creation.
• Stimulate the creation of research networks.
• Promote the enhancement of students and researchers at stages of career consolidation through academic internships abroad.
