Objective

The Program promotes the qualification of English language teachers currently working in the public educational network through a 6-week intensive course at a university in the USA.

The courses aim to enhance the professional development of English language teachers, focusing on:

• Strengthening proficiency in the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English;
• Immersion in the daily life of an English-speaking country, enhancing their ability for historical and cultural contextualization in language teaching
• Sharing teaching, learning, and assessment methodologies that encourage the improvement of the teaching/learning process.
