Requirements established by Public Call nº 43/2022, item 6.1:

I – To be Brazilian born, or, in the case of foreigners, to hold authorization for residence in Brazil or appropriate visa, according to the current legislation;

II – To maintain effective ties with the basic education network and not be undergoing probationary internship;

III – To hold one of the following positions: a) basic education teacher b) coordinator or pedagogical supervisor c) manager of educational institution d) professional holding administrative- secretarial posts, or carrying out activities related to continuous teaching qualification;

IV – To hold a higher education diploma, preferably a graduation degree;

V – To have his/hercurriculum duly registered at Freire Platform – available at freire.capes.gov.br, with all the required information related to his/her academic and professional activities in the basic education area;

VI – To present a letter of intent justifying his/her interest in participating in the program (Annex I);

VII – To prove minimum proficiency in the English idiom through a certificate form one of the institutions related in the Public Call;

VIII –Not holding a scholarship or receiving financial benefits from other entities with similar objectives, under penalty of cancellation of the benefits and reimbursement of the amounts granted;

IX – Not having participated in previous editions of the program.
