Eligibility

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible to apply, candidates must:

i. Hold Brazilian nationality or, in the case of foreign nationals, possess a valid residence permit in Brazil or an appropriate visa, in accordance with migration legislation;
ii. Be a high school Physics teacher, permanently employed within the public basic education system, and actively engaged in classroom teaching;
iii. Hold a teaching degree (Licentiate) in Physics;
iv. Have a curriculum vitae registered on the Freire Platform, available at freire.capes.gov.br, containing all information related to academic background and professional experience in basic education;
v. Not be receiving, nor have received in the past five years, any scholarship or financial support from federal entities for purposes similar to those of this Call; and
vi. Have no pending issues in the Federal Public Sector Outstanding Debts Registry (Cadastro Informativo de Créditos não Quitados do Setor Público Federal) or in the “Various Responsible Parties” account of the Integrated Financial Administration System (SIAFI).
