Open Acreage of Production Sharing: ANP holds public consultation on the review of the tender protocol and the production sharing agreements

On October 18, 2024 notice of the Public Consultation and Hearing No. 06/2024 was published in D.O.U. regarding the new versions of the tender protocol and the agreements of the Open Acreage of Production Sharing - OPP.

Of the 14 blocks on offer in the draft tender protocol, there are Ágata, Esmeralda, Jade and Turmalina (authorized by CNPE Resolution No. 26/2021); Ametista (authorized by CNPE Resolution No. 04/2022); and the Amazonita, Citrino, Itaimbezinho, Jaspe, Larimar, Mogno, Ônix, Safira Leste and Safira Oeste blocks (authorized by CNPE Resolution No. 11/2023).

Petrobras exercised its right of preemption to act as an operator in relation to the Jaspe block, with a percentage of 40%, considering the parameters disclosed in CNPE Resolution No. 06/2024.

The draft documents and procedures for participating in the public consultation and in the public hearing, as well as the forms for sending contributions and for pre-registering participants, are available on the Public Consultation and Public Hearing page No. 06/2024 (in Portuguese). 

The public consultation period is 45 days and will end at 6:00 p.m. on December 4, 2024. The public hearing will be held on December 11, 2024, starting at 2:00 p.m., via videoconference.
