Dynamic Dashboard for the Open Acreage
The Open Acreage’s Dynamic Dashboard is an interactive tool for viewing consolidated information on exploration blocks and areas with marginal accumulations to be put up for bid for oil and natural gas exploration and production activities.
The information is categorized as follows:
• Open Acreage of Concession (OPC): auctions for exploration blocks or areas with marginal accumulations.
• Open Acreage of Production Sharing (OPP): auction of exploration blocks in the pre-salt basin or strategic areas.
For the OPC, the dashboard shows the total number of blocks or areas available in the current tender protocol. For the OPP, the results of the two cycles that have already been completed are available.
For the blocks available on the OPC, the parameters used (for example: minimum bonus, Minimum Exploration Program - PEM, bid guarantee, and qualification requirements) for each block or area are also described, as well as the list of companies registered to participate in any cycle of the Open Acreage of Concession (OPC). You can apply filters to the blocks - such as basin, environment (deepwater, shallow water, or onshore), and minimum operator qualification - and to the companies, by country of origin. Regarding the results of previous rounds of the OPC and OPP, the dashboard allows users to search by round, by bidding company, and whether the bid was successful or not.
