A cycle of the Open Acreage of Concession consists of all the activities necessary to hold the public session for the presentation of bids for the sectors that are the subject of declarations of interest. It includes the qualification of the winning bidders of the public session, the awarding of the objects of the cycle's bidding, the approval of the cycle's bidding and the signing of the concession agreements, as per item 1.24 of the current Tender Protocol.
The cycles begin with the publication of their schedule, upon approval by the Bidding Round Special Commission (CEL) of one or more declarations of interest, accompanied by bid guarantees, as provided for in items 1.20 and 1.25 of the Tender Protocol.
As per the resolution of the 71st Meeting of the Bidding Round Special Commission of the Open Acreage of Concession (CEL OPC), the 5th Cycle of the Open Acreage of Concession was opened and its schedule was published in the Federal Official Gazette (DOU) on February 11, 2025.
