Results - Second Cycle of Open Acreage

The ANP held the public bidding session for the Second Cycle of Open Acreage on December 4, 2020, in the city of Rio de Janeiro. See below the results of the public bidding session for exploratory blocks an for the Marginal Accumulations Oil Fields (the files are in Portuguese).

Exploratory Blocks

Seventeen blocks located in the basins of Amazonas, Campos, Espírito Santo, Paraná, Potiguar and Tucano were purchased, totaling an area of 19,818.09 km². The total bonus offered was R $ 30,936,646.00 and the minimum investment expected in the exploration phase is R $ 157,002,000.00.

Marginal Accumulations Oil Fields

The Marginal Accumulations Oil Fields of Juruá, located in the land basin of Solimões, was completed, totaling an area of 331.80 km². The total bonus offered was R $ 25,760,000.00 and the minimum investment forecast is R $ 3,600,000.00.
