Agreement Signature

The ANP held, on June 28, 2021, in Rio de Janeiro, the signing ceremony of the 18 concession agreements for the exploration and production of oil and natural gas, related to the 17 exploratory blocks and 1 area with marginal accumulations awarded in the 2nd Cycle of the Open Acreage. Seven companies signed the new concession agreements: Shell Brasil Petróleo Ltda., Eneva SA, Enauta Energia SA, Imetame Energia Ltda., Energy Paranã Ltda., Potiguar E&P SA and Petroborn Óleo e Gás S.A. 

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Mines and Energy Bento Albuquerque, the ANP Directors Rodolfo Saboia, Symone Araújo and Dirceu Amorelli, as well as authorities and representatives of the winning companies of the public session of the 2nd Cycle of the Open Acreage.

The signing ceremony of the concession agreements for the blocks and area auctioned in the 2nd Cycle of the Open Acreage will be held on June 28, 2021, Monday, starting at 10:30 am, at Palácio do Itamaraty, located on Av. Marechal Floriano, 196 – Downtown, Rio de Janeiro - RJ. 

The event will be held with a reduced presence of participants and with the adoption of all safety and social distancing protocols resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, with live broadcast on the ANP channel on Youtube so that the public can follow the entire ceremony of online form.

To sign the concession agreement, the winning bidders or the affiliates indicated by them must present signature documents and guarantees, as well as prove the payment of the signature bonus, according to section 10 of the Tender Protocol of the Open Acreage.
