OPP: Blocks to be auctioned in the 3rd Cycle of OPP announced
The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels (ANP) has released the list of blocks that will be offered in the public session of the 3rd Cycle of the Open Acreage of Production Sharing (OPP). A total of seven blocks will be offered: Jaspe, Citrino, Larimar, Ônix, Itaimbezinho, Ametista, and Esmeralda. The public session will take place on October 22, 2025.
The evaluation of the declarations of interest and bid guarantees received by ANP for the 3rd Cycle of the OPP was completed during the 16th meeting of the Bidding Round Special Commission of the Open Acreage of Production Sharing (CEL OPP), held on August 19, 2025. The blocks on offer in the 3rd Cycle were announced in the Official Gazette (DOU) on August 20, 2025.
Until September 11, 2025, bidders with active registration in the 3rd cycle may expand their interest in the bidding process by submitting new declarations of interest and additional bid guarantees for the blocks that will be offered in the 3rd Cycle of OPP.
Bidders with active registration but not submitting a declaration of interest may submit bids in consortium with a bidder that has declared interest within the 3rd Cycle timeline.
