Open Acreage of Production Sharing (OPP): 19 companies have qualified for the 4th Cycle

ANP released June 26 the list of the 19 companies with active registrations that are eligible to participate in the 4th Cycle of the Open Acreage of Production Sharing (OPP). The list of bidders was published today in the Federal Official Gazette and is available on the ANP website (in Portuguese).

These companies will have until July 21 to submit a statement of interest, accompanied by a bid garantee, for one or more blocks listed in the current tender protocol.

Bidders listed on the roster who do not submit a declaration of interest may submit bids in a consortium with a bidder who has declared interest within the timeframe set forth in the schedule for the 4th Cycle of the OPP.
15 of the 19 companies were already registered for the OPP when the cycle began, and 4 applied for registration during the cycle. They are: Galp Energia Brasil S.A., Kufpec E&P Brasil Ltda., Repsol Exploração Brasil Ltda., and Repsol Sinopec Brasil S.A.

Currently, the tender protocol for the Open Acreage of Production Sharing (OPP) includes 23 blocks available in the Campos and Santos sedimentary basins. By August 6, ANP will announce which of these blocks have received expressions of interest from companies and, consequently, will be offered during the public session of the 4th Cycle of the OPP.
