The ANP ratified the judgment report of the Second Transfer of Rights Surplus Production Sharing Bidding Round approved by the Bidding Round Special Commission (CEL) and awarded the bidding object to the winning bidders, according to a statement published in the Official Gazette (DOU) on December 23, 2021.
The winning bidders in the Second Transfer of Rights Surplus Production Sharing Bidding Round will enter into production sharing agreements with the MME, ANP and PPSA for the exploration and production of oil and natural gas.
In order to sign production sharing agreements, the winning bidders must present signature documents and prove payment of the signing bonus within the period defined in Table 1 and as required by Section 10 of the bidding documents.
The signing date of the production sharing agreements will be confirmed and will likely take place at a signing ceremony by April 29, 2022.
