Brazil reinforces its commitment to Food Security at the Nutrition For Growth (N4G) Summit in Paris

- Nutrition For Growth (N4G) Summit in Paris
The Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit aims to increase nutritional security in the world through quality food and healthy, diversified and balanced diets.
In addition to its official participation in the summit, Brazil will organize and participate in side events that will discuss global strategies for expanding sustainable school feeding programs and fighting hunger and poverty.
Together with UN agencies and other partners, the country has played a leading role in promoting sustainable school feeding programs, being one of the co-chairs of the Global School Feeding Coalition and promoter of the Sustainable School Feeding Network (RAES), initiatives that demonstrate Brazil's ability to promote innovative actions to ensure universal access to nutritious meals in schools.
The Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty will be one of the main partners in the campaign. The delegation will highlight the strong convergence between the commitments to be outlined at the N4G Summit and the objectives of the Alliance, especially in the areas of school feeding, social protection and the transformation of food systems with a focus on health, nutrition and climate resilience. The Alliance will also be portrayed as a concrete platform to support the implementation and expansion of these commitments at the national level, promoting effective and coordinated actions to tackle hunger and extreme poverty by 2030.
