Visit of President Michel Temer to Peru on the occasion of the 8th Summit of the Americas – April 13-14, 2018

President Michel will attend the 8th Summit of the Americas, to take place in Lima, Peru, on April 13 and 14, 2018.

The Summit of the Americas gathers heads of state and government to discuss common issues, make commitments and take concerted actions with a view to overcoming challenges faced in the Americas.

The hosts from Peru chose the theme ‘democratic governance against corruption’. A document setting out the commitment of the heads of state and government to improve hemispheric cooperation in preventing and fighting corruption shall be adopted in Lima.
