The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Press Office (AIG) oversees the communication between the Ministry and the press and promotes Brazilian foreign policy actions to society, through its communication channels on the Internet and main social networks. It also supports press activities during the travels of the President of the Republic, the Vice President of the Republic and the Minister of Foreign Affairs abroad.

The Press Office also coordinates and provides assistance to communication, press and public diplomacy activities of the Brazilian network of diplomatic and consular representations. In constant dialogue with other areas of the Ministry and its network of Embassies, Missions, Offices, Consulates and Vice-Consulates around the world, the Press Office provides relevant information to the Brazilian society and promotes Brazil's image abroad.
