Tornado in China

The Brazilian Government has learned with sorrow of the tornado that struck the Chinese province of Jiangsu, yesterday, June 23, killing dozens of people and leaving hundreds injured.

The people and Government of Brazil express their solidarity to the families of the victims and their condolences to the Government and people of China.

The Brazilian Consulate in Shanghai has been monitoring the situation. Until now, there are no reported Brazilian citizens among the victims.
