On Feb. 21, the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service announced that it has lifted the suspension on imports of raw intact beef products from Brazil. The reopening of the U.S market for Brazilian raw intact beef exports, the result of a long process of dialogue, exchange of information and technical inspections, is an important step to promote the quality of the Brazilian product and health inspection system in the international market.
The reopening of the U.S. market for Brazilian beef exports is a concrete example of the solidity and mutually beneficial nature of the partnership between the governments of the two countries.
