The Minister of External Relations and Worship of Argentina, Héctor Timerman, will undertake a working visit to Brazil on 13 March.
The Minister of External Relations, Antonio de Aguiar Patriota, will meet Mr. Timerman in São Paulo. The Ministers will review the main issues on the bilateral agenda, with special attention to cooperation projects in strategic areas, such as science and technology, integration of power grids and productive chains, and will also go over major global and regional affairs.
Brazil is Argentina’s main trading partner. In 2011, bilateral exchange rose 20.2% over the previous year, reaching US$ 39.6 billion, a historical record. Manufactured goods account for over 80% of the exchange.
