The 25th Ibero-American Summit – Cartagena de Indias, October 28th and 29th, 2016

Minister José Serra will represent Brazil at the 25th Ibero-American Summit, to be held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, on October 28-29, under the theme Youth, Entrepreneurship and Education.

Created in 1991, the Ibero-American Conference brings together twenty-two members (nineteen Latin American countries and three European countries) and develops more than 1,200 projects every year with the participation of Brazil as a cooperation provider in the fields of health, education, culture, tourism, housing and infrastructure.

The restructuring process of the Ibero-American Conference, started in the Veracruz Summit, Mexico, in December 2014, will also be continued.
