Terrorist attack on the Military Academy in Homs, Syria

The Brazilian government was saddened to learn of the terrorist attack that took place on October 5 during a cadet graduation ceremony at Homs Military Academy in Syria. The attack resulted in the loss of more than 60 lives and left 180 injured.

Brazil extends its condolences to the families of the victims and its solidarity with the people and the government of Syria, and reiterates its firm rejection of any and all acts of terrorism.
