Attempted assassination of the Prime Minister of Sudan

The Brazilian government condemns the attempted assassination of the Sudanese Prime Minister, Abdalla Hamdok, which took place in Khartoum last March 9.

While expressing its repudiation of any act of terrorism, regardless of its motivation, Brazil conveys its solidarity with the Sudanese people and reiterates its support for the transitional civilian government in Sudan.
