Temporary suspension of flight operations from the United Kingdom to Brazil - Measures and recommendations of the Brazilian Ministy of Foreign Affairs

The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its Consulate General in London is fully  addressing the situation of Brazilian nationals who are in the United Kingdom and whose flights back to Brazil have been  canceled due to the temporary suspension of international flights originating in or passing through that country, as provided for in Ordinance n. 648, of December 23, 2020 (https://www.in.gov.br/en/web/dou/-/portaria-n-648-de-23-de-dezembro-de-2020-296122366).

The Consulate General of Brazil in London has been providing the relevant information and responding to  every communication received on the subject.

The Consulate General has also outlined that the interministerial ordinance that suspended flights does not curtail the right of Brazilian nationals to return to their country, emphasizing the need to present a  Covid laboratory test with negative result and a health declaration for  arrivals in Brazil as of December 30. It has also referred to available connections in European capitals for the commute  from the United Kingdom to Brazil.

The Consulate General is particularly paying close attention to Brazilian nationals in a vulnerable situation and has provided them with all the necessary assistance.
