Suicide attack at military base in Mali

The Brazilian Government condemns the suicide attack on a military base in Gao, northern Mali, today, which left more than 50 dead and dozens wounded.

In reiterating its strong repudiation to all acts of terrorism, regardless of their motivation, the Brazilian Government expresses its condolences to the families of the victims and its solidarity to the people and Government of Mali.

The Brazilian Government renews its support to the work of MINUSMA and to the efforts of the international community in favor of the stabilization in Mali.
