Presidential election in Ecuador

The Brazilian government congratulates the authorities and the people of Ecuador for holding the runoff presidential election in an environment of democratic harmony and reconciliation. The government of Brazil also extends its congratulations to Mr. Daniel Noboa for his election as the President of the Republic of Ecuador.

The Brazilian government wishes the President-elect every success in the fulfilment of his future mandate. It also expresses its readiness to seek continued strenghtening of the bilateral relations with the aim of developing both societies and the entire South American region.
