Passing of King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand

The Brazilian Government learned with great sorrow of the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.

Throughout the 70 years of his reign, King Bhumibol, deeply revered and admired by the Thai people, lead his country through several transformations in world politics and economy, leaving a legacy of stability and prosperity.

The Brazilian Government expresses its heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, to the people and Government of Thailand. Brazil reiterates its traditional solidarity with Thailand and hopes that the example of King Bhumibol inspires the future generations of the Thai people.
