Murder of Japanese Journalist Kenji Goto

The Brazilian Government regrets and condemns the murder of Japanese citizen Kenji Goto. Terrorism and political violence are phenomena that Brazilian society rejects categorically, regardless of their motivation. The Brazilian Government extends its sympathies to the victim's family as well as to the Japanese people.
