Mission of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, to Bolivia, Panama, Peru, and Ecuador (January 26–30, 2026)
From January 26 to 30, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, will make official visits to Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador, and will also accompany the President of the Republic on an official visit to Panama.
On January 26, Minister Mauro Vieira will visit La Paz, where he will meet with his Bolivian counterpart, Fernando Aramayo. On that occasion, the foreign ministers will review the priorities of the extensive bilateral agenda, with emphasis on issues such as security, energy, and infrastructure.
On January 28, Minister Mauro Vieira will accompany the President of the Republic on an official visit to Panama.
On January 29, Minister Mauro Vieira will visit Peru, a country with which Brazil has maintained a Strategic Alliance since 2003. During the meeting with his Peruvian counterpart, Ambassador Hugo de Zela, they will address the state of bilateral relations, with emphasis on issues related to trade, infrastructure, and the fight against transnational organized crime.
On January 30, the Brazilian foreign minister will visit Quito for a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador, Gabriela Sommerfeld. On that occasion, they will follow up on the agreements reached during the visit of President Daniel Noboa to Brazil on August 18 of last year.
