The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mauro Vieira, will meet with the President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Peru, Mr. Luis Alberto Otárola Peñaranda, and the Chancellor of that country, Ambassador Ana Cecilia Gervasi Díaz, at Itamaraty Palace today.

On the occasion, bilateral themes will be discussed, such as trade and investment, border development and the fight against transnational crime, and regional issues, such as South American integration and Amazonian cooperation.

Brazil and Peru share almost three thousand kilometers of border. In 2022, the countries set a historical record in trade exchange, reaching $ 4.92 billion, an increase of 15.6% over the previous year.
