Meeting between the President of the Republic and the President of Paraguay, Mario Abdo Benítez, in Foz do Iguaçu

The President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, will meet the President of the Republic of Paraguay, Mario Abdo Benítez, in Foz do Iguaçu, on August 31th. The Heads of State will discuss the bilateral relationship and projects and initiatives for the benefit of their societies.

Brazil is Paraguay's main trading partner, having registered in 2021 the highest value of bilateral exchange in history, with trade flow exceeding US$ 6.6 billion. In turn, bilateral trade between January and July 2022 has already reached more than US$ 4 billion, a growth of 9.4% compared to the same period of 2021.
