Incident in the Kerch Strait

The Brazilian government has learned with concern of the naval incident on Nov. 25 involving the Russian Federation and Ukraine in the Kerch Strait, a point of access between the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

The Brazilian government urges the Russian Federation and Ukraine to avoid further escalation of the conflict and to seek a peaceful solution to the crisis, in line with international law.
