Floods and landslides in New Zealand
The Brazilian government was deeply saddened to learn of the floods and landslides on New Zealand’s North Island. More than one hundred people were affected, including the deceased, those buried, and others affected by flooding and power outages.
The Brazilian government extends its condolences to the families of the victims and expresses its solidarity with the government and the people of New Zealand.
The increasing occurrence of such events in different regions of the world underscores the urgent need for coordinated international action to address the climate crisis.
