Explosion at Iran's Shahid Rajaee port

The Government of Brazil has learned with dismay of the explosion that occurred today, the 26th, at the Shahid Rajaee port terminal in the city of Bandar Abbas, Iran, which left at least five dead and more than 700 injured.

In extending its condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a full recovery to those injured, the Government of Brazil expresses its solidarity with the people and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
