Explosion at an agricultural cooperative in Paraná State

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was saddened to learn of the explosions that took place on July 26 in a grain silo located in the city of Palotina, Paraná State, resulting in the loss of at least eight lives, including seven Haitian workers.

The Brazilian government extends its solidarity with the families of the victims and makes itself available to the Haitian authorities to provide the necessary assistance, and to seek and make available all information related to the incident.
