The Brazilian government congratulates Audrey Azoulay, former Minister of Culture of France, on her election as Director-General of UNESCO, on the occasion of the 202nd session of the organization’s Executive Board, currently taking place in Paris.
The Brazilian government hopes that the next Director-General of UNESCO will be able to fulfil the organization’s primary objectives in the areas of education, science, culture, communication and information, to continue with the reforms in progress and to concentrate efforts in the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
