Brazil’s participation in the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit in Paris
The Brazilian government will participate in the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit, to be held on March 27-28, 2025, in Paris.
The Brazilian delegation will be composed of First Lady Janja Lula da Silva and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE), the Ministry of Social Development, Assistance, Family, and the Fight Against Hunger (MDS), the Ministry of Health (MS), and the National Fund for Educational Development (FNDE), which is linked to the Ministry of Education (MEC).
The N4G Summit aims to enhance global food and nutrition security through access to quality food and healthy, diverse, and balanced diets.
In addition to official participation in the Summit, Brazil will organize and take part in side events that will discuss global strategies for expanding sustainable school feeding programs and tackling hunger and poverty. These discussions will be framed within initiatives where Brazil plays a leadership role, such as the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty, the Global School Meals Coalition, and the Sustainable School Feeding Network (RAES).
Brazil reaffirms its global commitment to food and nutrition security, emphasizing the importance of South-South cooperation as a strategic tool for strengthening effective public policies to combat hunger and malnutrition.
