Attempted Coup d’État in Benin

The Brazilian Government has learned with concern of the attempted coup d’état in Benin, which took place in the early hours of yesterday, December 7, 2025.

Brazil condemns the attempt to break constitutional order and expresses its solidarity with the Beninese government and people.
