Attack in Pakistan

The Brazilian Government vehemently condemns the attack which took place today in a school in the city of Peshawar, northern Pakistan, causing the death of at least 126 people, including 84 children and adolescents, and leaving more than a hundred people seriously injured.

At this moment of grief and consternation, the people and Government of Brazil express their solidarity to the Government of Pakistan and to the mourning families. Brazil reiterates its repudiation to violence and its categorical condemnation of terrorist acts, regardless of their motivation.
