Attack in Bajaur, Pakistan

The Brazilian government has learned with sorrow and concern of the attack on July 30 during a political convention in Bajaur district, Pakistan, which killed dozens of people and injured more than 200.

Brazil expresses its condolences to the families of the victims, its wishes of a full recovery to those wounded, and its solidarity with the people and the government of Pakistan. Brazil also reaffirms its firm repudiation of any and all acts of terrorism, regardless of their motivations.
