Attack against Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi

The Brazilian Government was saddened to learn of the attack against Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhim, who fortunately was unharmed. The Brazilian Government wishes of a quick and full recovery to his personnel who were wounded in the attack, which occurred in the early hours of November 7.

Brazil rejects the resort to terrorism in all its forms and regardless of its motivations and expresses the hope that political differences in the friendly country can be overcome through dialogue, meeting the aspirations for peace, security and development of the Iraqi society.
