Appointment of the Permanent Representative of Brazil to the ICAO

The Brazilian Government is pleased to inform the appointment of Ambassador Michel Arslanian Neto as Permanent Representative of Brazil to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in Montreal, Canada.

This is Ambassador Michel Arslanian Neto's first assignment to head a post abroad. In Brasilia, he served as Secretary of the Americas (2022-2023), Director of the MERCOSUR Department (2022) and Department of MERCOSUR and Regional Integration (2019).

According to the Constitution, the appointment will be submitted to the Federal Senate for consideration.
